Backyard Wildlife: Mountain Lion

Sadly this isn’t my backyard. I would love to see a mountain lion like this. So close. A real wild mountain lion. And I am safe.

    Wow! That’s scary and awesome all at the same time lol. We live in Iowa and there have been sightings in the southern part of the state!

    That’s amazing – such a beautiful animal. I’ve always wondered how a domestic house cat would behave if confronted by one of their larger wilder cousins. This one looked pretty relaxed 🙂

    Mountain Lions are very cool animals. So like our pets but with a size that means they can kill us, if they want. They are not much risk to us though…

    Had a mountain lion track me once while on the Blue Ridge. It was spooky to see it behind me, then a mile later passing in front of me and stopping to stare.
