I think the advances being made are tremendous. Soon the invasive nature of these procedures might be drastically reduced or even eliminated.

I don’t know if this is scary or really cool! Part of me wants one to try out. The other part says- I don’t need to look at computer screens any more already.

As bad as my eyes are getting from looking at a computer screen all day- every day it’s ironic that someone’s “solution” involves contact lenses!

Would you like Google with that? If you add internet and Google with bionic vision, then you could see search results super imposed on your ordinary vision – some thing like ‘augmented reality’ Combine that with mind reading technology – machine translates thoughts into speech, and home automation commands, you could think of a command and make things happen like a magician! (albeit only electronically controlled, of course)..

amazing breakthrough! just yesterday as i was watching the cable, can’t recall what channel, probably discovery channel, they have shown how cyborg age is coming. There are robots of different kinds already, and it reminds me of some of my favorite movies Back To The Future, Star Wars and Terminator.

But then, these technological advancements really gives me the creeps! Because I believe that the more knowledgeable people get, the closer we are to doomsday!
