Determined is right! We keep box turtles as pets and one of our boxies - Myrtle the Ornate Box turtle moves around like that when she's determined to get somewhere. I didn't know the little guys could have that much energy. I like the quote though, "The killer tortoise of Port Elizabeth, South Africa as this little fellow has become known is a small but powerful symbol that some things are worth fighting for." I have never seen a turtle going for a cat. I wish I had one of these at my homeyard, which would chase our neighbour cats.
