With their new Go Range TomTom have included Voice recognition, text to speech, Bluettoh hands-free for cell-phones, and thousands of POI's. You can speak to your TomTom, tell it where you want to go, select a restaurant, and the device will phone it's number for you so you can make a reservation. Need to call the emergency or break-down services? A couple of screen-presses and the PND will phone the appropriate people and tell you exactly what to tell them in terms of your location - "I'm on theM4 between J8 and J9 travelling towards London." Very safe and smart. Now we just need them to be able to drive the car too...
